Antoinette Stroup, PhD


Dr. Stroup is the Director of the New Jersey State Cancer Registry, an Associate Professor and Division Chief of Cancer Epidemiology at the Rutgers School of Public Health, a member of the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey’s Cancer Prevention and Control Program, and President of the North American Association of Central Cancer Registries (NAACCR).

Nan has a Master’s Degree in Family Ecology from the University of Utah and a PhD in Epidemiology from UC Berkeley.  She’s worked in the cancer surveillance and research field for more 16 years and has extensive experience in cancer registry systems and operations. Some of Nan’s research focuses on cancer surveillance, population-based cancer trends and cancer disparities.
