Cancer Treatment Centers of America® and Susan G. Komen® Central and South Jersey to Host Metastatic Breast Cancer Education Series on April 9

Susan G. Komen Central and South Jersey will be hosting its first educational event focused exclusively on metastatic breast cancer, The Metastatic Breast Cancer Education Series, on Saturday, April 9th, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Hyatt Regency Princeton. The event is sponsored by Cancer Treatment Centers of America.

The agenda will feature expert presentations on advances in metastatic treatment, social and psychosocial issues affecting metastatic patients (including stress reduction), and diet and nutrition. Presentations will be followed by a Q&A panel with the speakers and a metastatic patient.

Speakers will include Ian E. Krop, MD, PhD and Lynn Bornfriend, MD.  Ian Elliott Krop, MD, PhD, is the Chief of Breast Medical Oncology and the Director of Clinical Research for the Breast Oncology Program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a Komen Scholar. Dr. Lynn Alison Bornfriend is a psychiatrist at CTCA at Eastern Regional Medical Center.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Participate in light chair yoga activities, network with peers in your community, and visit a variety of vendors in our Expo throughout the morning.
